Terms of Use
Effective August 25, 2026. Last updated September 23, 2026.
These terms cover two things: your use of this website, and the software tools Goldman Tax and Advisory operates internally to serve its clients. They are written to be read. If anything is unclear, email rodd@goldman.vi.
Who we are
Goldman Tax and Advisory is a tax and accounting firm at 9800 Buccaneer Mall #16, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 00802. Client work is governed by the engagement letter for that work and by our professional obligations as a CPA firm. Nothing on this page replaces either.
Using this website
- The content on this site is general information about USVI tax and our services. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice, and reading it does not make you a client.
- No client relationship exists until both sides sign an engagement letter. Sending a message through the contact form does not create one.
- Don’t rely on a page here for a filing position. USVI rules change, and your facts matter. Talk to us, or any qualified professional, first.
- The site’s content, branding and design are ours. Quote it with attribution; don’t republish it wholesale.
Software the firm operates
The firm runs internal software tools, for example tools that read our own accounting records through providers such as Intuit QuickBooks to produce internal reports. These tools:
- are operated by the firm, for the firm. They are not offered to the public and have no end users outside the firm;
- access only data the firm is authorized to access, under the terms of the relevant provider (for example, the Intuit developer terms) and our engagement letters;
- are provided “as is” for internal use, with no warranty to any third party.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The website is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, Goldman Tax and Advisory is not liable for damages arising from use of this website. This does not limit any obligation we owe a client under a signed engagement letter or under professional standards.
Third-party links and services
Pages here link to third-party services (government portals, and providers such as Google, Meta and Intuit). Those services have their own terms and policies, which govern your use of them.
Privacy
What this website collects about visitors, and why, is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we change these terms, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
